My Own Icon Set - Sizcons
I’ve been talking about releasing my own icon set for a couple weeks now. Well, here they are. It’s a very small set of some icons that I thought I would frequently use. I hope to continue to add to the set as my need for new ones arise, but for the time being, it will be a small set.
Sizcons are free, so use them however you see fit. If you do use them, it would be nice to get a link displayed somewhere on your site saying where you got them, but it’s not required.
You can read more about the set and download them from the navigation menu at the top under “sizcons,” or by going to sizcons.

KingJacob: Thanks, I’ll take that as a compliment. 
What icon are you referring to as the “no comments” substitute? I didn’t make one specifically for that purpose, but it’s interesting to know how they could be used. That’s obviously one I hadn’t thought about.

Very useful, thank you. I really like the size of them also, a nice usable size—big enough to punctuate elements while compact enough to not detract from diverse designs.

Awesome Deron. I use FamFamFam icons at the mo on Blogtrepreneur, but would happily switch if there was an icon about money - like I have pointing to the TextLinkAds. I’ll try hit you up by Gmail - as your talent needs some publicising!

Adnan: Yeah, famfamfam is by far the most popular. Heck, I’m still using them on this site (not had time to change over to my own yet). Yeah, definitely, if you have an idea for new icons that you could use, by all means, contact me and I’ll work on them. I’ll take all the publicizing that I can get!

Awesome!
I have recently downloaded the FamFamFam icon set for my new design - but I would much rather use just your icon set. You have practically all the icons that I was planning on using but a few (which could make a good addition):
-A double comment bubble
-A paperclip (attachment)
-"NEW"
-A chain (link)
-"< >” (tag)
-The Shuffle Symbol - the two arrows crossing each other… (I’d use that for a “random post")
If you add those, I shall use your set only and give you credit.
I’ll use your set anyways (and give you credit) - but I’d trash the FamFamFam set and use just yours.
I’d use just yours as it is, but I need those others… 
(If that’s not wordy enough… and slightly demanding enough… and I’m not trying to...)
At any rate.

Brian: Glad you like them. I’ll definitely add those icons for you. I’m going to work on a few for Adnan also.
As for the “tag” one, are you simply needing an icon that looks just like “< >” am I understanding you correctly?
I’ll try to get them done by next week Brian.

Personally…
I like your set more than FamFamFam’s… The thing has over 1,000 icons! Who’s going to use that many? It probably took me 15 minutes to look through them all… And that is when I was skipping sets of similar icons!
Oy.
So, you’re set is better.
Can’t wait to use it!

Michael: Thanks I appreciate that. That’s my plan anyway, to continue to add new ones as the need arises or others contact me asking for specific ones. I’m hoping that eventually it will be viewed by others as a really great resource.

Hi, I like that set. Nice, clean. If I may I use it on one of my websites. But: I´ll put them in one single color. Just so it´s not so colourful. Even though, they are even in colouring not too bad. Has a nice teint.

Aiyoota!-CMS: Thank you very much. Sure, feel free to change them to a solid color if you choose. I’d love to see what you’ve come up with after the change. If you want, let me know what ones you’re planning on using and I can change them to a solid color pretty quickly for you.

Jacob: Not to long really. I made most of them over the course of a weekend. When my wife and I travel to my in-laws, I don’t have internet connection there, so it gives me time to work on thing like this without getting to distracted by other blogs and forums.
I have plans to do a video tutorial and show everyone exactly how I created one a two of them. It’s not to hard and I’m sure there are many different ways of doing it, but I thought I would share mine.
